This is the short version. We collect as little as we can, we do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Who we are
Rebel Heart Society LLC, an Oklahoma company. We run the podcast, the site and the newsletter. Questions about this policy go to hello@rebelheartsociety.com.
What we collect
- Your email address and, if you give it, your first name. Only when you save a seat, which signs you up to our Substack newsletter. We use it to send you new episodes, writing and workbook pages. Nothing else.
- Nothing else on purpose. No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising networks. If that changes, this page changes first.
Who else sees anything
- Nobody, for the page itself. The site's typefaces are served from our own site. Loading a page sends your request to our host and to no one else.
- Our email provider. The newsletter runs on Substack. When you save a seat, Substack holds your address and sends the emails, under its privacy policy. We can see the list and nothing more.
- Players and embeds. When an episode page embeds a YouTube or Spotify player, that player is theirs and runs under their policies. We will say so on the page.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone for marketing. We hand it over only if the law makes us.
What you can ask
- Unsubscribe. Every email has a link. That ends it.
- See what we hold on you. Email us and we will send it.
- Delete it. Email us and it is gone from Substack within 30 days.
- Correct it. Same address.
These rights apply to everyone, not only to readers in California, the United Kingdom or the European Union. If you are in any of those, the CCPA, the UK GDPR or the EU GDPR gives you these rights in law, and we honour them the same way.
Children
The site and the newsletter are for adults. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13. If a child has signed up, tell us and we will remove the address.
Cookies
We set none. The one thing the site stores in your browser is whether you closed the cookie notice. The cookie policy has the detail.
Changes
The date at the top moves when this page does. If a change matters, we will say so in the newsletter.
